2024 john roberg memorial darts championship
It is my pleasure to announce that the Napredak Club has partnered with the Broken Hill Darts Association to host the 2024 John Roberg Memorial Dart championship, The event will include three days of darts action starting on Friday night 4th october with our drawn doubles knock out, Saturday 5th October with the Mens, and Ladies doubles championship finishing on Sunday 6th october with Mens, and Ladies singles championships.

You can take comfort in knowing that this will be a non for profit event and our intention is to grow and develop the sport in Broken Hill, every member of the Board of the Napredak and the Broken Hill Darts Association is a volunteer and we simply do our work for the love of sport and our community.

Getting there:
Morning and afternoon Bus pick up to and from Musicians Club 276 crystal street Broken Hill,
Friday 4th Pick up Musicians Club 4:30pm and 5:00pm
Pick up form Napredak Club 10:00pm and 10:30pm
Saturday 5th Pick up Musicians Club 9:30am and 10:00am
Pick up form Napredak Club 6:00pm and 6:30pm
Sunday 6th Pick up Musicians Club 9:30am and 10:00am

Musicians Club Info:
After the days play we will congregate back at the Musicians Club, where the Musicians with provide the perfect setting for relaxing afternoon, with meals and refreshments along with live music Saturday night. And Sunday the NRL Grand Final on the big screen.
It is encouraged to become a member to take advantage of membership prices.

CODE OF BEHAVIOUR – PLAYER:

Play by the rules of the game.

Never argue with the referee or any other official there to help you. If you disagree, please disscuss in a courteously manner or ask the organizers to courteously approach the official during a break or after the competitive event.

A good player is a self-disciplined person; stay in control of your temper always.

Verbal abuse of officials, sledging other players, deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is behaviors that are neither acceptable nor permissible.

Work hard on your own game and work equally hard to play your part in the team effort as there will be benefit to both the team’s performance and your own performance.

Be a good sport – respect and applaud all good plays whether they are made by your team or by the opposition.

Treat all participants in Darting events as you would like to be treated.

Never bully, take ‘cheap shots’ or take unfair advantage of another competitor.

Cooperate with your team coach, team-mates and opponents – without them there would be no competition event.

Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit, not just to please other persons such as coaches, parents etc.
Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants, regardless of their gender, ability level, cultural background or religion.
Nominations:
Nominations will need to be made before start of each event, and nomination form must be filled out and handed in to administrators, form can be found @ www.usebocce.com/darts
Clothing:
Collared shirt and enclosed shores MUST be worn. Jeans, shorts, and skirts are permitted.
Prize money:
BHDA will distribute prize money in a manner they deem fit, prize money may be distributed by means of bank transfer or cash dependent on the amount owing. Total prize pool subject to change depending on participants.
